Dear Chidinma, Peeshawn of Skuki says he's inlove with you & wants to marry you

Chidinma, get in here, there's someone who is in love with you and wants the world to know it. Peeshawn, one half of singing sensation Skuki (pictured above in white shirt) confessed his love for the pretty Kedike singer in an interview with Encomium mag. Excerpts from the interview below...

But, there are some you also admire that you don’t mind spending the rest of your life with?
Yes, of course! Nigeria is blessed with pretty babes. If you study me well, you will observe that I am a very romantic guy, at the same time, I am very emotional. I definitely have someone that I love so much.
In the industry or out of the industry?
(Pause for seconds) In the industry, I have someone I really love so much.
Who is the lucky lady?
(Pauses again) Chidinma. She’s really attractive. I really love her so much, but we’ve not really had time to chat closely, except when we met at backstage during shows. I hope she will read this, for her to know that Peeshaun of Skuki loves her.
But Chidinma doesn’t read newspapers. She told us in an interview recently?
I am sure her friends, family will read it. They will definitely tell her I said so. I will love to marry her.

Are you serious?
Yes, of course!

What do you really like about Chidinma?
First, I love her music. I love her style. I love her composure. Apart from that, what I love in a woman is a beautiful face and I think Chidinma has 10/10 of that. The low cut on her head is making her look more beautiful anytime I see her performing or watch her video.

Are you directly or indirectly proposing to her?
I don’t want to talk about that now. Next question, please.

Vector Did Not Propose To Chidinma

After the picture above went viral on social media, there has been speculation as to whether fast rising artiste, Vector proposed to Chidinma.

Well, CWB can authoritatively inform you that Vector did not propose to Chidinma. We learnt that Vector and Chidinma were aboard the same flight to Lagos from the Hennessy Artistery event in Abuja, while on the plane they decided to pull this stunt out of just being bored.

R&B Singer Banky W on Friday night at the Civic Centre Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos had his album launch concert titled R&BW – The Grand Love Project.

The event was co-hosted by IK, Seyi Law & Freeze. Performances from K9, Iyanya, Chidinma, Bez, Black Magic, Praiz, Shaydee, Lynxxx (with Banky W), Niyola (with Banky W), Bez, Waje, Sound Sultan and Skales thrilled fans who had a splendid time. There was also a special appearance by Blackky came on stage and brought the house down with hit songs starting with “Rosie” (anyone remember those days?).

They event was full of celebrites, Eldee, K9, Iyanya, Chidinma, Bez, Black Magic, Praiz, Shaydee, Lynxxx, Niyola, Bez, Waje, Sound Sultan, Skales, Blackky, Dotun, Freeze and Mannie (Cool Fm), I.K and Toke Makinwa (Rhythm 93.7 fm), Uti, Alex Ekubo, Tiwa Savage, JMartins, Shine, Dj Xclusive, Toolz (Beat Fm), Mo Abudu, Tosyn Bucknor, Ebuka, Kate Henshaw and so on

Banky W stages R&BW - The grand love concert

Banky W is throwing another Lagos party. And this time, it’s for the release of his hugely anticipated genre-defining, industry-shaking album R&BW.

The singer, songwriter and businessman has spent the last few years grooming protégées like Wizkid, Skales and Niyola; running the EME label- currently unarguably Nigeria’s number one music powerhouse.

Now, W is all ready to present his new body of work to millions of fans around the world. And he’s setting it off with an intimate concert this Valentine.

 

EME has announced plans for the R&BW: “The Grand Love” Concert, saying, in a statement released this morning, that the concert will hold at The Civic Centre on Ozumba Mbadiwe in Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, February 15, 2013.

It’s just about two months after the massive Baddest Concert, featuring Banky and his label mates. The singer says he’s ready again, to treat fans to the kind of special performance they won’t get anywhere else.

And he’s joined by some of R&B's biggest names, including Wande Coal, Darey, Tiwa Savage, Bez, Blacky and Faze. Other star performers, according to EME, include Lynxxx, Sound Sultan, Iyanya, Praiz, Omawumi, Waje, J Martins, May D, Chidinma and many more to be announced.

 

 

EME homeboys Wizkid, Skales, DJ Xclusive, and Shaydee are also on the bill, as well as first lady Niyola with special guests appearance by Don Jazzy and Yvonne Nelson as well as other special surprises.

Banky W took time off finalizing the album, and rehearsing for the concert, to speak with journalists on Wednesday, saying he ‘can’t wait to present this beautiful album’.

'This is the year of R&BW’, he says, adding that the Civic Centre concert is ‘one of many events’ that’ll mark the arrival of the long awaited album.
