A lot’s changed for the Beckham family over the last few months. Soccer pro patriarch David left the L.A. Galaxy at the end of last year and announced in January he’ll be heading back to Europe after signing a five-month deal to join French team Paris St. Germain. While it’s unclear if David, wife Victoria, and their four children will hang on to their 22,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home, they’re reportedly letting go of their 22-acre English country estate, dubbed "Beckingham Palace" by the press.
The couple bought the mansion in Hertfordshire, England, back in 1999 for just 2.5 million British Pounds and it’s reportedly worth more than four times that amount today, about $16.75 million. The seven-bedroom Georgian-style manor, built in the 1930s, includes a gym, recording studio, billiards room, tennis court, and multiple outdoor swimming pools … providing what we’ll assume is a slightly different experience from what the original owners got.
