Information just reaching us that former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Prof Charles Soludo, is now in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC).
Charles Soludo was arrested at his Abuja residence today.
We inquired what would have caused the arrest and a source in EFCC made it known that the arrest was made in in connection with the controversial contract the former CBN governor awarded for the printing of polymer currency notes to an Australian company during his tenure between 2006 and 2008.
Sources also confirm that he is still in detention till further notice.
