Abolaji Osime chose to hang her wig and gown to be an entrepreneur 25 years ago. That made her establish Global International College, Lekki, Lagos and carved a niche for herself in preparing students for schools overseas.
After about 13 years of running an educational organisation, she set up a foundation and she will be hosting Young Achievers Awards for persons between the ages of 16 and 30 years, who have excelled in music, fashion, creative arts, sports and entertainment.
Since its Christmas, the Oscar-like event holds on Boxing Day in Lagos and many young celebrities, including Davido, of Tinsel will be given awards.
Her guest list include Tonye Cole, actors, Olu Jacobs and wife, Joke Silva, and Eme Akenzua, CEO, John 3Vs 3.
